QUERY IN NLS
Query is a letter issued by the Nigerian law school for any offence committed by a student of NLS. Offence could be in different form. Failure to dress properly in compliance with NLS dress code, fighting, lateness to class, being rude to a lecturer, refusal to answer question in class, not participating in group meetings. All these and more can fetch queries. Getting a query is baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. The reason being that once the number of queries reaches three, it is dangerous. Funny enough, it is possible to get all three in a day. Law school is where you learn a new level of humility. My advice is don’t be scared but do what you are supposed to do at the right time. If you are proud, arrogant and rude, try spending your time in law school pretending to be otherwise. Once you are done with law school, you press resume. Besides, you have the whole of your life to be all that.
